The neuropsychologist is a health professional skilled to perform cognitive evaluations and make a clinical judgment on the nature of neuropsychological disorders.

When a worker has a neurological problem, the neuropsychologist conducts a complete evaluation of your worker’s problem using interviews and psychometric tests to determine the cause of his cognitive/behavioural/emotional problems to make a specific diagnosis.

He can then establish a detailed profile of his situation and its impacts on his work, in order to help him resume his work activities.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of diagnoses for which Solutions en Réadaptation neuropsychologists can intervene with an adult clientele:

  • Traumatic brain injury (from moderate to severe)
  • Epilepsy
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Alzheimer’s
  • Language disorders
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
  • Stroke
  • Lewy body dementia (LBD)
  • Etc.

Finally, and all to the advantage of the Solutions en Réadaptation, neuropsychological care is usually provided in a short timeframe, with a swift follow-up.
