+1 (514) 990 9299Gary earned his Ph.D. research and intervention in clinical psychology at the Université de Montréal (2019). He also has a graduate degree in higher education (2023). His approach is integrative, combining elements of the cognitive-behavioral approach (CBT) and the psychodynamic approach, depending on the client's needs. Her approach to therapy is based on the premise that each person is unique, both in his or her own subjectivity and difficulties. Thus, the aim is to co-construct the therapeutic process that is likely to be most helpful to the individual in coping with the challenges he or she is currently facing.
Gary works by building on the therapeutic alliance he develops with his patients, with the aim of using the relationship to better understand the issues that may arise in their day-to-day lives, and fostering constant communication with regard to the clarity and definition of therapeutic goals to which both parties are committed. This communication is also underpinned by his training and experience in teaching, having developed his capacity for scientific popularization. He has also developed expertise in accompanying people from ethnocultural minorities, having acted as a transcultural consultant during several past mandates.
Gary offers his services on a face-to-face or virtual basis.
