Jérémie obtained his master's degree in occupational therapy from the Université de Sherbrooke in May 2025. Since then, he has been a member of the Axo Physio team. His university career, enriched by numerous internships, has enabled him to develop a solid clinical curiosity, a wide range of skills and a deeply human approach to working with a variety of clienteles: the frail elderly, stroke victims, people with mild to moderate traumatic brain injury, child psychiatric patients, as well as those in socio-professional rehabilitation. These experiences have shaped a versatile occupational therapist, capable of adapting sensitively and effectively to a wide variety of contexts and needs.
An innovative internship with high-level athletes in transition to retirement marked his path. This experience enabled him to develop interventions focused on promoting health through occupation, a principle he places at the heart of his practice. Convinced that participation in meaningful activities is essential to well-being, autonomy and personal fulfillment, Jérémie is committed to integrating them into his clients' daily lives. He would also like to include this specific clientele - athletes in transition - in his professional practice.
He is particularly interested in socio-professional rehabilitation, whether it involves overcoming a musculoskeletal injury or coping with a psychological condition. He works in close collaboration with each client to build a daily life that resembles them and makes sense. His approach is based on collaboration, interdisciplinary work and, when appropriate, a touch of humor to make the rehabilitation process more enjoyable and motivating. Her desire to vary her practice has also led her to take an interest in a wide range of intervention contexts, including home and workstation adaptation, working with veterans and health promotion.
