Kim Benjamin-Briand, Occupational Therapist

About

Kim obtained her master's degree in occupational therapy from the Université de Montréal in 2015. Since 2017, she has been part of the Physiothérapie Universelle team, where she works with commitment and dedication. Keen to offer quality service tailored to her patients' needs, she has taken numerous training courses in physical health, specializing in work rehabilitation, load handling, ergonomics, and the manufacture of various orthotics.

Over the years, Kim has become more specialized in the field of mental health, focusing on adjustment disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and other related issues. She has also strengthened her skills to provide specific support to the clientele of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Kim has been putting her skills to good use by training the next generation of caregivers, welcoming nearly a dozen trainees each year. Thanks to this initiative, she can pass on her knowledge and experience, while guaranteeing quality support for the patients who benefit from Physiothérapie Universelle's services.
