Pascale Langlais, Occupational Therapist

French

About

Pascale graduated from McGill University in 1999 with a degree in occupational therapy. She began her career at a rehabilitation center in Montreal, working in a department specializing in technical aids for mobility and posture. Driven by a desire to discover new horizons, she then moved to Switzerland, where she furthered her practice in sensory pain rehabilitation, particularly with people who had undergone hand surgery. This international experience enriched her understanding of pain treatment and refined her clinical approach.

Returning to Quebec in 2007, Pascale worked in the public sector with a variety of clients, consolidating her expertise in occupational therapy. Since 2014, she has been practicing at Axo Physio, where she focuses particularly on the treatment of persistent pain. She has also completed specialized training in sensory rehabilitation for neuropathic pain, reinforcing her commitment to comprehensive and personalized care.

A lifelong athlete, Pascale also holds a bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Montreal (1995). She regularly enjoys cycling, running, kayaking, and cross-country skiing. A native of the Gaspé Peninsula, she considers daily physical activity essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally.

Keen to keep her knowledge up to date, Pascale continues her professional development in a variety of fields, such as activity analysis and postural hygiene, chronic pain, hand pathologies, and sleep.
