Sarah Proulx, Occupational Therapist

About

Sarah is a graduate occupational therapist from the Université de Montréal, where she obtained her master's degree in 2021. Since then, she has been in private practice, mainly on the front line, offering any service related to the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and return to work following a road and/or work accident. She is trained in office ergonomics, postural hygiene and load-handling techniques. Passionate about her work, Sarah is also developing her interests in mild traumatic brain injury, chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder. She also wishes to refine her knowledge so as to be able to work with clients in cancer rehabilitation.

Her interventions are aimed at enabling occupation and balancing the occupational schedule, notably through therapeutic education, the development of functional capacities and the power to act, as well as the reactivation and modification of lifestyle habits, all with a view to achieving satisfactory and optimal functioning.
