Sonia Macaluso, Occupational Therapist

About

Sonia is an occupational therapist who graduated from Université de Montréal in 2007. Since the start of her career, she has been working in vocational rehabilitation, helping clients with disabilities to return to work. She has worked in the Functional Capacity Development program for several years, performing functional capacity assessments, workstation analyses and workplace interventions. Sonia has completed the Workwell training program for functional ability assessments. In recent years, she has focused her interventions on mental health clients. She has also completed various continuing education courses, participated in research projects and now mentors and coordinates professional follow-up with occupational therapists in the clinics. She has completed several training modules to facilitate the MBSR ("Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction") program and uses mindfulness-based approaches in her interventions.
