About

A 2005 graduate of Collège François-Xavier-Garneau with a degree in physiotherapy techniques, Valérie has been working in the private sector for over 20 years, mainly in orthopedics. After five years at the Clinique de physiothérapie de St-Marc-des-Carrières, she acquired it in 2010 with her colleague Julie Pelletier, a physiotherapist. She then participated in the opening of clinics in Donnacona (2011) and Pont-Rouge (2015). These three clinics are now part of the Axo Physio network, of which she is a proud co-founder.

Valérie also holds a diploma in massage therapy from the MKO school, obtained in 2006. Committed to the continuous development of her skills, she has taken numerous specialized courses in orthopedics (upper and lower limbs, disc pathologies, dynamometer), as well as on more specific issues such as cranial nerves, benign positional vertigo, rheumatic disorders, and the temporomandibular joint.

Very involved in her community, Valérie has worked with several local sports teams (hockey, soccer) as a therapist and trainer, and has also coached at a fitness center and with young people in basketball and kinball.

A passionate athlete, she has practiced many sports throughout her life, including volleyball, swimming, running, cycling, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and especially scuba diving, which she particularly enjoys and which leads her to travel regularly.

Valérie is known for her professionalism, attentiveness, dedication, and commitment to her patients' well-being. She cares deeply about everyone's health and firmly believes that “Rehabilitation allows you to live better and enjoy life to the fullest!”
