Hidaya graduated from the Université de Montréal with a bachelor's and master's degree in occupational therapy in 2022. She has taken the following advanced courses: Occupational Therapy and Musculoskeletal Problems, Sensorimotor Theories in Rehabilitation, Specific Themes in Occupational Therapy - Hand Problems, as well as Rehabilitation and Technology. Hidaya has also taken the seminar course on learning, cognition, and behaviour.

She has a keen interest in hand therapy and plans to pursue further certification on the subject. She is particularly interested in the management of surgical wounds and scars, orthotic fabrication, motor imagery rehabilitation and sensory rehabilitation.
