CLINICAL ACTIVITIES – Recommendations based on alert levels

To all our customers,
On September 28, public health announced during its press conference, for the entire province, that the therapeutic care sector is not affected by any new measure despite the passage of certain regions to the level of ‘maximum alert’ (red – level 4).

Majority of our services are available in a hybrid model, either face-to-face or telerehabilitation.

Sanitary protocol | Everyone’s safety is important!
Following government recommendations since the start of the pandemic, Physiothérapie Universelle is committed to redoubling its efforts to comply with health precautionary measures in all clinics in its network. Our sanitary measures in place therefore continue to apply in your care environment and in the work environment of all our employees. The goal is to be able to offer one of the safest environments there is.

Interregional travel
Public health authorities authorize health professionals to continue to receive clients from other regions and to travel between regions as part of their work.

Face-to-face & Telerehabilitation
Despite continuing our in-person activities for all of our clinics, you may want to transfer your appointments to telerehabilitation or virtual appointments.
Check with your clinic to find out the availability of this service in your region, or you can call directly at 514 990-9299!

Physiothérapie Universelle will continue to communicate new information from public authorities. We are monitoring the situation closely and we will quickly communicate to all our clients any information that would affect our services in the clinic.

March 17th 2020

To all our customers,

We wish to inform you of the temporary decrease in the operations of the network of Physiothérapie Universelle’s clinics.

The position of Physiothérapie Universelle follows recommendations made by the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec (OPPQ) and the Federation of Physiotherapy Clinics of Quebec (FCPQ).

« Considering that physiotherapists are first line responders and that it is essential to avoid clogging up the health network, OPPQ recommends that private physiotherapy clinics receive people with urgent conditions or requiring immediate care. »

https://oppq.qc.ca/membres/actualites-et-dossiers/covid19-activites-professionnelles/

This includes, by the same token, the clinics that have recently joined our network: the Fabreville clinic, the Physio Ergo Plus clinics, the Physiotherapy clinic R.Henri Valleyfield and the Pierre Boucher clinic.

Please note that all of our appointments will be subject to an assessment to determine if the consultation is considered an urgent case or can become one if treatment is stopped. Appraisal appointments are those scheduled between March 17 and March 30, 2020. All our clients will be contacted by our professionals within the next 24 to 48 hours to give you the advice required to manage your condition as best as possible during this temporary reduction in our clinical operations.

We are aware of the important impacts of this position for each of our customers, but we had to clarify the situation for all of our customers and take action to ensure the safety and health of all.

This exceptional measure is part of preventive actions to preserve the health of the population and limit the spread of the virus in Quebec.

If you believe that your condition is urgent, we ask that you send an email to your clinic using the form provided for this purpose on our website. The clinic concerned will be able to process your request and one of our professionals will contact you to assess the situation, advise and guide you on possible interventions. Note that telerehabilitation is an option currently being studied and we will look at it all with our clients who would like to continue their consultations.

To know all the latest news from our company, we invite you to consult our tab COVID-19 or consult our company’s Facebook page.

Thank you to all of our customers for your understanding and to all of our employees for their dedication.

To communicate with us by email, please write directly to [email protected] or by phone at 514 990-9299.

Stay tuned for our next communications!
