Having worked in the healthcare field for 15 years, Ana Gabriela has had the opportunity to practice in a variety of nursing departments, including operating theatres, nursing homes, palliative care and neurosurgery. The well-being of her patients and the quality of her care were her priorities, as was the desire to improve and deepen her knowledge.
It was in Chinese medicine that she discovered a way of looking after the whole person, helping them to achieve a state of balance. She went on to train in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the Faculté Libre d'Energie Traditionnelle Chinoise (FLETC) in France, where she obtained her practitioner's diploma in 2001. Upon her arrival in Quebec, she completed her DEC in acupuncture at Rosemont College in 2016.
Since then, she has focused on treating complex musculoskeletal problems that are often referred to her by physiotherapists. She has completed several training courses in association with advanced techniques in musculoskeletal ponctures and ZHENG GU TUINA manual therapy. She thus uses several combined methods to enhance the effectiveness of her treatments.
