Jennifer Readman, Occupational Therapist

About

Jennifer graduated from the University of Montreal with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2013. Since the beginning of her career, she has worked in vocational rehabilitation, helping clients on disability to resume their professional activities. She has been working in the functional capacity development program since 2019.

Passionate about her work, she has trained in several areas, including the management of chronic pain and mental health clients. She accompanies clients with mood or anxiety disorders through individual, personalized follow-up to help them achieve an occupational balance that makes more sense to them, and to prepare them for their return to work. Our interventions are aimed at enabling occupation and balancing the occupational schedule, notably through therapeutic education, reactivation and modification of lifestyle habits to achieve satisfactory and optimal functioning. 

To ensure quality care for her patients, she has received training in occupational therapy management in the context of chronic pain, in the principles of postural hygiene and load handling, and in mental health in the context of occupational rehabilitation.
