Laurent Shaker, Occupational Therapist

Laurent Shaker graduated from McGill University in occupational therapy in 2013. An interest in physical injuries led him to further training in hand therapy and the McKenzie Level A-D approach. Having treated many work-related injuries of healthcare professionals, Laurent then continued his development by working in the recovery support program for employees of the healthcare system. Due to the pandemic, he was able to develop his mental health approach by specializing in motivational interviewing. Laurent brings a multi-dimensional, holistic approach to his work, keeping in mind the link between the condition and the whole human being.
