Léa Marie graduated from McGill University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree, followed by a master's in occupational therapy in 2020. She is an active member in good standing of the Ordre des Ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ) as well as the Association québécoise des ergothérapeutes en pratique privée (AQEPP). Her area of expertise lies mainly in hand therapy and orthotic fabrication, which has led her to pursue various specialized training courses in this field.
However, her curiosity is not limited to hand therapy. She also shows a strong interest in a wide range of other injuries and disorders, from head to toe, that can disrupt people’s daily activities. Passionate about socio-professional rehabilitation, Léa Marie helped create the Universal Physiotherapy virtual clinic at the start of the pandemic. Her goal was to ensure that everyone could continue receiving treatment and resume their usual activities despite the constraints imposed during—and beyond—the pandemic period.
