+1 (514) 990 9299Michael graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology nearly 10 years ago. Her passion and desire to offer the best possible service to her patients have led her to complete several other related training courses in recent years. Some of these include more specialized training in musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation:
- Training in chronic pain rehabilitation through the Institut de kinésiologie du Québec (IKQ)
- Specialized training in therapeutic exercises through the Association nationale des intervenants en entrainement (ANIE)
- Training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation via the Canadian Red Cross
This passion for the more therapeutic aspect of kinesiology was enormously beneficial to his career path, which led him to become involved in athletic physical preparation, considering that injury is an almost integral part of sports performance, given the competitive environment that surrounds sport in general. The types of injury range from concussion to musculoskeletal injuries (tendinopathy, periostitis, etc.), as well as the more psychological (depression, adjustment disorders, etc.). Nothing is more convincing than the return to normal of a sporting gesture in a competitive context to testify to the success of a rehabilitation process!
