Noémie Girard, Occupational Therapist

About

Noémie is a graduate of Université Laval and Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, where she first completed a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology - concentration in Ergonomics & Occupational Health and Safety - as well as a certificate in Psychology, before graduating from UQTR in 2012 with a bachelor's and master’s degree in occupational therapy.

Her interests in biomechanics and the holistic approach have led her to practice with a varied clientele, including people with work or road accidents. Having begun her career with specific training in pediatrics and adult physical health, she now focuses on a variety of musculoskeletal disorders in adults, with a particular interest in hand therapy and rehabilitation of traumatic injuries.

In recent years, with a view to broadening the scope of her practice, she has completed training courses enabling her to treat and support patients with mild traumatic brain injury, as well as those with Covid-longue, in their functional rehabilitation.
