Cassandra Caluori, Occupational Therapist

About

Cassandra graduated from McGill University in 2021 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She completed both her bachelor's and master's degrees with distinction, making the Dean's Honour List and receiving an Award of Excellence. In recognition of her academic achievements, she has also been the recipient of scholarships from Caisses Desjardins and the Canada Scholarship Partners program.

She has gained experience in a variety of settings such as hospitals and private clinics, working with a diverse clientele including patients with stroke, concussions, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain and mental health problems. These experiences have enabled her to hone her skills. To guarantee the quality of her patients' care, she has taken further training courses throughout her career.

Through her professional experiences, Cassandra has developed a particular interest in mental health, including depression, anxiety disorders and adjustment disorders. She is currently undergoing specialized training on returning to work and daily routine in the context of mental health issues.

Recognized for her professionalism, dedication and compassion, Cassandra aspires to accompany her patients on the road to recovery and to offer them a better quality of life by ensuring their health and satisfaction.

Outside of her professional practice, Cassandra is passionate about mental and physical health and well-being. She is also a fitness instructor and teaches Zumba classes.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, going to the gym, hiking with her dog, reading, dancing and relaxing.
